My name is Anna Sophia, and I don’t know much about myself. Not what happened to my parents. Not why I was found living with wild bears in Siberia, and certainly not why an eccentric, rich couple in Switzerland is trying so hard to adopt me.

This is such a wonderful and delightful book. I enjoyed it so much. It is filled with intrigue and has an enchanting storyline.

Anna Sophia is an amazing character and I truly felt all of her emotions. She is a young girl, always feeling she was different and that her life was shrouded in mystery with more questions than answers. She faces the truth about who she is and learns many lessons from her side-kick Squire, who totally rocks! I love the many aspects of it from the bonds of friendship to an extended family.

The details are outstanding and send the reader right into the depth of the story. It is so well written -- the flow is smooth and kept me reading to the end. The ending is incredible and I can not wait for the next book. The illustrations are perfect for the story and really tied it all together. 

Max Candee is an awesome author and I love how his mind works, and his love of writing is so clear. I want more, more, more. Read this book, it is pure magic!
