Description:

A compilation of 31 horror stories for my readers who enjoy no holds barred terror before turning in at night.

Hark! You should not read this book:
1. at night when you are alone.
2. during a thunderstorm that could plunge your home into pitch blackness.
3. during the full moon, particularly when the wolfbane blooms.
4. around a campfire after dark in a dense forest.
5. if the news reported a deranged maniac escaped from the local asylum.
6. if you live next door to a haunted house or a graveyard.
7. if your parents did not let you watch scary movies as a child.
8. if you believe in ghosts, demons or the Loch Ness monster.
9. if you have rats in the cellar or bats in your belfry.
10. if limbs being hacked off makes you quesy.

I have selected my most gruesome nightmares from "Black As Night" and "Shivers and other nightmares." This followup to "Thrillers & Chillers" includes vampires, werewolves, boogeymen, and a sampling of monsters, aliens, and various deranged maniacs to haunt your dreams all the lonely nights. I think the cover graphically depicts the no holds barred severity of the stories that lurk inside these pages. Enjoy!

About the Author

I was controller for one of the world's largest architectural firms in Washington, DC and New York City. Although pursuing accounting as a career path, I have always had a great interest in creative writing. I have written more than 200 songs, writing both the music and/or lyrics and collaborating with numerous writers and musicians through the years. I signed 39 publishing agreements with a host of publishers and almost realized a cut on Vanessa Williams' "Sweetest Days" album; however, 39 times my dreams did not come to fruition. I have written many poems and short stories and one screenplay. I love movies and had seen over 1,500 by the age of 13 when there was snow on 13 channels after midnight. I have always enjoyed horror and from an early age wrote numerous short stories in that genre. Some of those early stories are in this book. I have just completed my second horror compilation entitled "Shivers and other nightmares". My favorite horror movies are Halloween, Night of the Living Dead, and the Evil Dead. My favorite movie of all time Is Frank Capra's It's A Wonderful Life with James Stewart. My favorite authors are Stephen King, Ray Bradbury, Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, John Sandford, Michael Connelly, Robert B. Parker , Clive Cusler, James Patterson, Jeffery Deaver, Dean Koontz, Edgar Allen Poe, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, James Lee Burke, Lee Child, and Richard Matheson.
