The idea that the Veronica "Ronnie" Ingels/Dawson Hughes detective series will morph into a larger, over-arching and inter related mega-series...a "couples" series if you will, is exciting to me. I have four law enforcement couples in mind. Ronnie and Dawson are the first two. Of course Ronnie is a female private investigator and Dawson is a Deputy Sergeant and investigator in the Taylor County, TX sheriff's department. In the larger series, characters from one novel will pop into other novels in the series. Heroes and Heroines in one will show up as a secondary or minor character in a later novel.
